Who we are looking forThe job will entail monitoring audit assignments and performing all aspects of planning and executing risk based financial and operational audits. The successful candidate can also look forward to other challenges including initial public offerings (IPO) related work, due diligence and special investigation work. Good understanding of compliance and risk management. Carrying out of audit documentations. Organising audit results and highlight points for attention. Analyse internal control system of companies. Coaching and developing team members to achieve technical competence.

The Singapore Chartered Accountant QualificationThe Singapore CA Qualification is the national CA qualification, developed by the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC), and administered by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). SAC is a statutory body under the Ministry of Finance. The Singapore CA Qualification is designed to be globally recognised and internationally portable. Through the Reciprocal Membership Agreements (RMAs) with members of Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW), the most prestigious group of professional bodies, the Singapore CA Qualification is mutually recognised with world-renowned chartered accountant qualifications. RMAs have been signed with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and the Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).
The CA Singapore qualification is a work/study qualification scheme. Students are expected to study for their exams alongside their professional work. This ensures that CA students get the most exposure by applying what they have learnt in the classroom at their workplace.

About the roleThe role would incorporate;
- The firm will sponsor all training costs related to your qualification. This includes tuition fees (w revision), exam fees, and all miscellaneous costs.
- You will be expected to complete 5 professional modules. The modules can be taken in the following order: Professional level (4 modules + capstone). You must pass every exam (or receive credit for prior learning) – there are no other options.
- Complete a minimum of 24 months of work experience with Paul Wan & Co.
- To complete a minimum of 24 months after qualification.
- Provide audit services to a portfolio of diversified clients comprising public listed companies, MNCs and local conglomerates.
- Perform on-site fieldwork and testing.
- Perform analytical review of audit work.
- Organise audit results and highlight points for attention.
- Analyse internal control system of audited companies identify and recommend best practices for effectual and practical internal controls.
- You could sit a selection of professional accounting exams and leave with a competitive CV to fast track you into any finance/accouting related position.
